About our company, the manufacturer behind the portfolio, product documentation, local supply and reseller support. If a question turns on the Australian documentation, we will send you the document that answers it.
About Quadrant
Our company, our manufacturer and supply.
Who is Quadrant Farming Solutions?
Quadrant Farming Solutions is the Australian distribution partner for specialist European animal-production products. We import, warehouse and distribute a focused portfolio through rural resellers, and we are the local contact for product information and supply.
Do you manufacture these products?
No. Every product in our portfolio is manufactured by Vilofoss in Europe. Vilofoss is responsible for product development and manufacturing information; we are responsible for Australian supply and for representing the products accurately here.
Who is Vilofoss?
Vilofoss is a European animal-production manufacturer. It reports more than 90 years of experience, 17 production facilities across Europe and a presence in more than 60 markets. It is headquartered in Fredericia, Denmark, and is the brand for the DLG Group's vitamin and mineral business area.
Why is the portfolio so small?
Deliberately. We carry products with a distinct, explainable role rather than a broad catalogue of interchangeable items. A focused range is easier to understand, to support properly, and to recommend across a reseller counter.
Where can I buy these products?
We supply through rural resellers. Tell us the product and your postcode and we will help you find a local supply option. (We do not run a public stockist directory — a quick email gets you a better answer than a map would.)
Can you tell me the application rate or dose?
Rates, doses, directions and approved uses are set by the current Australian product documentation. Ask us and we will send the document that applies to the product you are using.
Can you give veterinary or nutrition advice?
No. We provide product information and the applicable documentation. Decisions about animal health, nutrition and treatment belong with your veterinarian, nutritionist or adviser, who knows your operation.
How do I become a reseller?
Rural retailers, produce stores, animal-health suppliers, and feed and nutrition businesses can apply through the Become a Reseller page. We review each application and follow up to discuss product fit, account requirements and supply.
About the products
Product questions.
Each product page carries its own full set of questions, along with the manufacturer's description and how we supply it in Australia.
Stalosan F: What is Stalosan F used for?
It is a dry hygiene powder applied to the floors, bedding and litter of housed animals as part of a routine housing-hygiene program. We supply it in Australia and can send you the current Australian product documentation.
Stalosan F: Which animals is it used with?
It is used across housed-animal systems including cattle, calves, poultry, pigs and horses. The approved species and situations come from the current Australian label — ask us for the documentation that applies to your operation.
X-Zelit: What is X-Zelit?
A complementary feed for dairy cows, fed before calving as part of a planned transition program. Vilofoss describes it as helping to reduce the risk of milk fever and subclinical hypocalcaemia.
X-Zelit: When is it fed?
During the pre-calving period. The feeding window and rate are set by the current Australian product documentation and should be planned with your nutritionist or veterinarian. Ask us and we will send the documentation.
Dialyt Express: What is Dialyt Express?
A ready-to-use liquid rehydration mixture containing electrolytes, easily digestible energy and plant extracts. Vilofoss positions it as a dietetic supplement that stabilises fluid and electrolyte balance, not as a treatment for disease.
Dialyt Express: Is it a treatment for scours?
No. It is a dietetic supplement supporting fluid and electrolyte balance. Persistent or severe diarrhoea, weakness or dehydration in a calf needs veterinary advice.
FreshFoss: What does FreshFoss do?
Vilofoss describes it as reducing heat build-up in a feed ration after it has been dispensed, particularly where water is mixed into the ration and during warm periods.
FreshFoss: When would it be used?
Through the conditions where ration heating is most likely — warm weather and high-moisture mixes — as part of feed management, rather than as a response after a mix has spoiled.
PECKStone: What is PECKStone?
A mineral block placed in poultry housing to give birds an appropriate material to peck at. Vilofoss describes it as a mineral block in feed quality, developed to promote the natural behaviour of poultry.
PECKStone: Will it stop feather pecking?
No single enrichment product can prevent damaging feather pecking on its own. Lighting, stocking density, litter, nutrition, ventilation and stress can all contribute. PECKStone provides an appropriate pecking material as one part of a broader flock-welfare program.
Products must be used in accordance with current Australian labels, directions and product documentation. Information on this website is general and does not replace veterinary, nutrition or other professional advice appropriate to an individual operation.
